The holidays are upon us. In just a couple of weeks, we’ll all be enjoying gluten-free pecan pie, almond milk hot chocolate, and perhaps some vegan “turkey” with our loved ones.

We all know this time of year is all about gratitude, but it also tends to be one of the most stressful, crazy, intense times of the year. As much as the holidays are a time for love and joy, they’re also a time when past wounds resurface, our wallets feel tighter than usual, and more often than not, our lives start to come undone at the seams.

Yes, that may sound dramatic, but it’s true!

 

When I think of how stressful life can be, the first thing I tend to do is seek out someone who manages stress well. The first person that came to mind in this case is my dear friend and powerful hypnotist, Grace Smith.
