The #1 Way to Up Your Holiday Wardrobe for Less

October 30, 2016 Beauty, Lifestyle

It’s that time again, love bugs! The party invites are aplenty, the family gatherings are piling up, and the festive weekend adventures are happening in full force. There’s no doubt the holiday season is one of the most fun times of the year, but on the flip side lies something many of us don’t talk about.

Stress.

Especially when it comes to money. More often than not, it can feel impossible to afford holiday gifts and time off work for travel, all while looking cute and put together at the same time. I’ve so been there. Which is why I’ve been known to be super crafty when it comes to finding ways to still look fab on a budget.

As we start shopping for gifts and sweet treats for ourselves, I wanted to share one of my favorite ways to make great purchases without breaking the bank.

So, what’s my style upgrade secret? It’s all about accessories. I know this might not seem like a major top-secret announcement, but I’m always surprised how often people forget that accessories can transform any outfit for a fraction of what it would cost you to buy a new one. Not to mention that during the holiday season you are not only allowed to adorn yourself with more bling, you are encouraged to!

Instead of spending too much on your holiday attire, add accessories to transform any piece of clothing into something spectacular (as an Indian woman who can never have enough jewelry, trust me when I say it’s essential!). That way, you can spend more on great gifts for your loved ones.

To make shopping for gorgeous accessories (and more!) easy for you, I curated my favorite items here. So hop on over and grab something for yourself and the lovely ladies in your life. I did all the guesswork for you.

Now, I’d love to hear from you. Do you struggle with money around the holidays? What’s the biggest pain point for you? I’d love to hear all about it in the comments below. Also, if you have your own favorite holiday wardrobe secrets, please share them too! We could all use expertise and advice on this topic!

Thank you for reading.
